The Alaskan Open Snow Golf Tournament is nine holes of pure winter fun for a great cause and a highlight of North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST!
Teams of up to five players take on a snowy nine-hole scramble using tennis balls instead of golf balls and just three clubs of their choice. Skis or snowshoes are welcome but not required — creativity and good humor are strongly encouraged.
Expect outrageous golf attire inspired by Caddyshack and Hot Dog the Movie, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs out on the snow. Food and drinks will be available from Café Zenon, keeping spirits high and golfers fueled.
Entry is $200 per team (up to five players). Prices increase after January 1, so register early!
All proceeds benefit Gateway Mountain Center, supporting youth connection to nature, adventure, and well-being in the Sierra.
Find two tee times together so teams can join up and double the fun — this is snow golf, Tahoe style.
