Tahoe City Street Faire
Introduced in 2025, the Tahoe City SNOWFEST Street Faire made an instant impact. The inaugural event drew thousands of attendees and transformed downtown Tahoe City into a vibrant, family-friendly celebration filled with music, color, and community, setting the tone for the first weekend of SNOWFEST.
With dozens of stationary vendors, floats, games, nonprofits, and local groups staged along North Lake Blvd the Street Faire is a walkable, festival-style experience that brings neighbors and visitors together in true Tahoe fashion. The energy, creativity, and welcoming atmosphere quickly made it a new SNOWFEST favorite.

Kings Beach Parade
The Kings Beach SNOWFEST Parade is a beloved North Shore tradition that brings the community together for a classic small town winter parade in the heart of Kings Beach. Each year, crowds line the streets to cheer on festive floats, creative costumes, music, and local groups celebrating Tahoe’s unique spirit.
With local businesses, nonprofits, clubs, schools, and organizations proudly participating, the Kings Beach Parade captures community pride, creativity, and good old-fashioned Tahoe fun. It’s a family-friendly event filled with smiles, cowbells, and the unmistakable energy of a town celebrating winter together.

Guidelines for Participants
To keep the Street Faire and Parade safe, entertaining, and family-friendly, please review the following before applying:
All entries are subject to review and approval by SNOWFEST organizers. You’ll be contacted if there’s an issue with your application.
Entries must have entertainment value, strictly promotional displays are not accepted. Consider participating as a vendor.
No political organizations or campaign entries are allowed. (Elected officials are welcome to participate.)
Identifying banners and signage are encouraged.
All children must be supervised by adults. We prefer that kids remain on floats, trucks, or within your designated area,
No refunds.
Applications close February 21, 2026 or when full.
Parade guidelines:
A parade is forward moving entertainment. Performances are limited to 1-1/2 minutes to keep parade moving and limited to a total of 4 performances. .Keep things lively so spectators can move along and enjoy every stop.
No throwing of candy, flyers, or favors. Handing out items directly is allowed.
All drivers must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid state driver’s license.
All children must be under adult supervision. It is preferred that all children be on a float or truck. If not, they must be able to walk fast enough to keep up. Children under the age of eight must ride on a vehicle.
Equestrian entries must provide their own cleanup crew.
Please note there will not be an area to park parade entries at the end of the parade route. Please make plans to disperse after the parade.
