The Alaskan Open Snow Golf event is nine holes of pure winter fun for a good cause and a highlight of North Tahoe SNOWFEST.
$200 per team. Teams of up to 5 players.
The round is a nine hole scramble best ball format with teams of up to 5 players. Snow golf is played with a tennis ball and each player is allowed three clubs (bring your own clubs & tennis balls). Skis or snowshoes are welcome but not required. Outrageous Caddyshack/Hot Dog the Movie inspired golf attire is encouraged. Find two tee times together so teams can join up and play together for twice the fun!
100% of Proceeds benefit Adventure Risk Challenge.
Food and drinks available from Cafe Zenon.
This year features the new “snowflake” course layout with a bar and live music by W. D. Saw centrally located in the middle of the course, right on the snow! More live music by DIZI PULSE at the clubhouse and don’t forget the live music après party with Home at Tahoe Tap Haus. Because only at SNOWFEST do you tee off with a soundtrack.

Adventure Risk Challenge (ARC) was founded in North Lake Tahoe as an outdoor leadership and literacy development program for underserved youth. Since 2004 ARC has facilitated relationship-centered youth development programming, using the outdoors as its classroom. ARC offers a multi-year program progression that provides opportunities for rural and low-income high school students in North Tahoe and Truckee, as well as in California's Central Valley, to grow to be more deeply engaged learners, leaders, and community members. Programs include weekly clubs and cohorts, monthly outdoor adventure trips, and wilderness-based summer courses of up to 34 days in length. ARC students become more empowered versions of themselves as they gain skills, confidence, and community in a supportive environment.
