Our mission is to support local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations, and scholarships, through the production of our unique festival. Gateway Mountain Center
Gateway Mountain Center brings together the transformative power of human connection and nature immersion to help young people learn, heal, and thrive.
Their work happens in all the places where young people need this support. That includes working with schools, collaborating with community groups and youth organizations, offering services at our community wellness center, and delivering our clinically supervised, nature-based, therapeutic mentoring program.
Shane McConkey Foundation
The Shane McConkey Foundation was founded in recognition of the worldwide community of skiers, adventurers, and everyday people who share a passion for life. In Shane’s honor, we support epic causes that protect kids, wildlife, and our planet.
Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation
LTSCF is proud to offer various scholarships for alpine ski racers from the Tahoe/Truckee area. LTSCF was founded in 1929 to raise funds for Alpine Ski racing in Tahoe Basin area.
North Tahoe School PTO
Our purpose is to improve the welfare and education of the students attending North Tahoe School (NTHS). We provide funds for education, equipment, materials, supplies and related items that will assist in the students’ education and learning. We work to encourage a closer and more effective relationship between the students, parents, teachers and staff. Our meetings are held in the teacher staff room.
North Tahoe Firefighters Association
The North Tahoe Firefighter’s Association (NTFA) is a non-profit organization, 501 (c)(4), that supports local firefighters by assisting the North Tahoe Fire Protection District with the purchase of fire and rescue equipment that they may not otherwise have the funds to obtain. The NTFA also maintains a relief fund to benefit our full-time firefighters and their families in times of special need. Donations are also appreciated and accepted. Tax ID # 97-2279309.
Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe
Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible community members.
Boarding for Breast Cancer
Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit foundation founded in 1996. Our mission is triple focused to prepare young people with education on early detection, promote the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention, and provide survivor support for those affected by breast cancer.
Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue
Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue’s mission is to conduct fast, thorough, and safe rescues and to help educate the public on backcountry safety in order to reduce the number of incidents.
Palisades Avalanche Dogs
"Palisades Avalanche Dogs are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our team is based out of Palisades Tahoe Olympic Valley and provides a resource to local SAR teams as well as the resort. We created our non-profit to help with associated costs within our team. These costs include vet care, food, training, and education. We support our community and greatly appreciate all the support our community gives to the team!"
Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe
The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter, and humane education programs.
Tahoe Community Nursery School
Tahoe Community Nursery School provides a safe fun environment that nurtures lifelong learners as they become familiar with a classroom/group setting.
Truckee Baseball Foundation
We are a non-profit foundation that fundraises to provide support to Truckee baseball and the student athletes with in.
Sierra Community House
On July 1, 2019, four long-standing non-profit, social service organizations — Family Resource Center of Truckee, North Tahoe Family Resource Center, Tahoe SAFE Alliance, and Project MANA — united to form Sierra Community House. Sierra Community House is a 501c3, non-profit organization. Our goal is to better serve our region, share resources, leverage partnerships, and connect individuals and families with the services they need to thrive to build the strength, safety, and resilience of the community.
Achieve Tahoe
Achieve Tahoe provides year-round outdoor recreation activities for people with cognitive, sensory, and physical disabilities. We can serve just about anyone with any disability. We focus on health, confidence, and independence so that the experience people have with us is long-lasting and carries over into other areas of their life.
