Challenging Tahoe since 1977! The Great Ski Race is one of the largest cross-country ski events west of the Mississippi and the signature fundraiser for Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives in the Sierra backcountry.

This year, both the start and finish are hosted at Tahoe XC. Participants can choose between two scenic course options — the classic 26-kilometer route for seasoned racers or a new 10-kilometer course designed for more recreational skiers and snowshoers.
